My Public Service Announcement (Does this Count as Community Service?)

Before the weekend hits and everyone runs home...

i just want to remind you all that Earth Hour is tomorrow at 8pm your LOCAL TIME. What is Earth Hour you ask? check out this site!

the basic idea is this:
Tomorrow night from 8 to 9 pm, your local time.... turn off EVERYTHING electronic where you are. At home, at work, with friends. There's lots of fun things to do with out electricity! When the whole world does it, it will make an impact on the earth and it will really show us how much energy the world uses in an hour. Let's give the Earth a breather!

So, turn off the lights, the computers, the tvs the games...turn it all off. Read a book by candle light, or get busy with someone...or yourself! hey, you've got an hour, you could probably do a few of those things.
