Given my general lack of anything to say - or the energy to say it, its really the perfect time for these survey type dealies... this one in particular was stolen from james.... i hope he doesn't mind. His answers are awesome, by the way, you might want to check them out if'n ya got time after reading all of mine....

1. How old will you be in five years?
almost 33 i guess.

2. Who did you spend at least two hours with today?
today? uhm, well i suppose B-rad - as the day started at midnight and we slept in the same bed for five hours after that.... although i wouldn't really call that spending quality time...

3. How tall are you?
tall enought to kick YOUR ass!! 5'5"

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?
the next six weeks? hm. Spring. i'm sick of this snowing wintery garbage.

5. What's the last movie you saw?
uhm, i think it was a documentary on Canada - re: legalization of Pot, Gay Marriage, and how all U.S. soldiers continue to cross the borders from the Land of the Free to Canada so they don't have to keep fighting a 'useless war'. it was quite interesting, i totally wish i had recorded it, or remembered the name of it. Other than that, Premonition starring Sandra Bullock - meh.

6. Who was the last person you called?
B-rad last night to get the ingredaments for 'Guatemalen Polo en Crema' - yum.

8. What was the last text message you received?
Uhm, it said; "Cool. Around 8ish?" and it was from Bath-tubs Sunday night - as we were making arrangements for Sunday Night "LOST" at the Batcave. (We just finished watching season 2... now on to Season 3!!)

9. Who was the last person to leave you a voicemail?
Doug from work. boring.

10. Do you prefer to call or text?
i used texts for things like messages to people, y'know.... "Cool, around 8ish?" things that aren't of dire importance or extremely lengthy... also, i'm not a huge fan of talking on the phone unless you're one of my regular phone buddies anyway. i'm much better on paper. i prefer emailing to all of these, but not everyone checks their email as compulsively as i do.

11. What were you doing at 12am last night?
Sleeping.

12. Are your parents married/separated/divorced?
My parents were high school sweethearts - married at 18 and 19, and they've been married for 31 years - and they actually still enjoy each others company!!

13. When is the last time you saw your mom?
Hm. good question. probably feb 11? on my last day off - she was in town Subbing at an elementary school nearby and she came over to eat her lunch at my house.

14. What color are your eyes?
Hazel. apparently when i'm angry they turn green... like the Hulk.

7:15

16. What are you wearing right now?
Oh, Maternity clothes. The belly grows everyday. I'm wearing some super cute Maternity jeans and a black maternity t shirt..... oh and my socks are red with lime green hearts on them. and my shoes are brown - but i'm not wearing them at this particular second.

17. What song are you listening to right now?
Ella Fitzgerald - "Wave" on my launchcast station. it's been hit-or-miss on there today... i'm happy with this selection.

18. Where is your favorite place to be?
My backyard in the summer - on the patio hanging with friends at night.

19. Where is your least favorite place to be?
Doctors Office waiting rooms.

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
i would love to go to Egypt to see the pyramids, or to Peru to see Maccu Piccu

21. Where do you think you'll be in 10 years?
helping kids with homework and making lunches?? i don't know... something like that. but still here in Toontown.

in my coat pocket - in the closet.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
escaped convicts and earthquakes

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh?
Watching Muffy play Guitar Hero with B-rad on Saturday night.... each time she got really into it she would hop on one leg without realizing it.

25. How many TVs do you have in your house?
2 - one in the Rumpus Room, and one in our bedroom

26. How big is your bed?
Queen - when we got married we thought a queen size would be more than big enough - now we're both thinking King was probably the way to go...

27. Do you have a laptop or desktop computer?
Desktop at Work, laptop at home (Fiona II)

28. Do you sleep with or without clothes on?
generally i sleep in pjs. unless there's some lovin' to be had.

29. What color are your sheets?
Dark Green.

30. How many pillows do you sleep with?
Currently, 2 pillows and a body pillow - to wedge under every part of my body as it continues to grow. Soon there will be no room for B-rad in the bed, it will just be me and a bed filled with pillows. when i'm not pregnant, just the one under my head.

31. What is your favorite season?
Fall.

32. What do you like about fall?
I love the smell. it smells great... and i love wearing sweaters and the colours of the leaves changing, and those last days of really really nice weather before the first snow fall.

33. What do you like about winter?
Currently, nothing... well, that's not true. i think that fresh fallen snow is very beautiful, and Sundogs, and Hore Frost. But as long as i never have to leave the warmth of my house.

34. What do you like about the summer?
Heat. Drinking beer on my deck (i guess that'll be next summer), tank tops, shorts, sandles, back yard fires, lakes, BBQs.... parties... everything really, the long days and the sunlight...

35. What do you like about spring?
The death of winter. Green everywhere you look, smell of wet dirt, sunshine, put away the winter coats, scarves, mitts, toques

Yes and No. I enjoy hanging out with one or two people at a time, and i have been known to hold a few big parties, but outside of my circle i'm very shy and don't like small talk... so in those situations i tend to be a wall flower.

40. What was the last thing you ate?
I am currently eating Guatemalen Pollo en Crema leftovers before my next meeting.

41. What is your favorite restaurant?
Probably the little divey place off Broadway where we get Vietnamese spring rolls. mmm.

42. What is your favorite ice cream?
Plain old boring Chocolate - although in the summer one of the ice cream shops here was making "Harry Potter" inspired flavours, and Butterbeer was most excellent... i also like coconut flavoured

43. What is your favorite dessert?
I'm really not much of a dessert person, but when i do opt for it, it's usually a cheesecake of some kind.

44. What is your favorite kind of soup?
Paige Stanton and i went to Octane for lunch once and had their Mushroom Soup. i think that probably wins, although my Curry Peanut Butter soup is also awesome.

45. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich?
I don't. i prefer honey on my Peanut butter sangwhiches. Unless B-rad's grandma made strawberry jam.... but even then, it's hard for me to pass up honey.

46. Do you like Chinese food?
Not really. it's okay. i prefer Vietnamese though cuz it seems less deep fried and more fresh.

47. Do you like coffee?
i love coffee, and miss it so. Every once in a while i have a decaf, but i know deep down inside it's not the real thing. I think, after i shoot out this kid, i will congratulate myself by purchasing a french press. i have a bean grinder, but never use it. B-rad doesn't drink coffee, so i rarely use our coffee maker.

48. How many glasses of water, a day, do you drink on average?
Well, the goal is 8, but sometimes i don't make it there. i definately drink more water at work though, except since i've been preggers, it seems i'm always thirsty. Add all that to the already increasing frequency in which i need to pee - i should just move into the bathroom, i'm there so much.

49. What do you drink in the morning?
Before the baby - about 3 cups of coffee.
now - water. or juice if i have some around.

50. What was the name of your first pet?
We got a cat when i was about seven. We all put names into a hat, and my older brother's name was picked: "Butterkins" LAME!! anyway, my baby brother was learning to talk at the time and called the cat "Kiki" or Kitty. Kiki stuck, and Butterkins was lost forever, except for the times when my older bro is naming anything (cat, dog, child) we bring up "Butterkins"

51. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed?
where i sleep, in every house we lived in, was decided by the proximity of the bed to the door or bathroom, as i tend to have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. The last three places have been on the Right side (while laying down), and now it just feels weird if i sleep on the Left.

52. Do you know how to play poker?
i have been forced to paly a few times, but do not enjoy it - i don't like the pressure, and the fact that i am essentially handing over my money to someone else, as i suck at it.

53. Do you like to cuddle?
Yeah. Totally. On the couch, in bed, in the car - wherever.

54. Have you ever been to Mexico?
Yep, Cancun a few years ago for our belated honeymoon. it was awesome, and i was drunk a lot.

55. Do you have an addictive personality?
luckily, no. i can spark up a cigarette, smoke 3 or 4, and then walk away from it.... i even smoked regularly for about a year in my first year of university, and when i decided to quit, i just threw away the pack and that was it. and with coffee - I don't even feel that i NEED to drink coffee... even the 3 cups a day thing, i drink it cuz i really like the taste of it. Same with smoking, it's weird, but i really like the taste of it and so generally in the summers i'll smoke a few around the fire with some beers - but i've never been addicted to smoking... or coffee, or any thing else, except perhaps tv shows....

56. Do you eat out or at home more often?
lately we've been eating out a lot - but i think that had a lot to do with b-rad being sick for over a week and me being exhausted. The worst part is - i don't really mind cooking, it's DECIDING what to make that makes me frustrated.

57.Where is #57?
57 is on the ketchup bottle - although i hear that there really aren't 57 varieties...


58. Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you?
yeah, that dude who calls me a robot... also, my birthday week is full - i know people with birthdays on May 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. My life is filled with Tauruses.

59. Do you want kids?
well, there's a loaded question. about 97 % of the time i am super stoked about this little critter growing inside of me, and the other 3% of the time i think: Oh my God, what am i getting myself into?? and i know i'm getting bigger from the baby, but i feel like a huge beached whale, and days of getting hammered in the bar after work are over, and taking off for the weekend, and playing Guitar Hero as loud as possible until 2 in the morning, and my tits and lady bits will NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN EVER!!!!!!! ....but 3% is small.

60. Do you speak any other languages?
i speak English fluently. And i can understand some french and have a basic knowledge of the language so that i can ask for directions, and German is in there a little bit - with some refreshing i'm sure i could be back up to finding my way to the Opera House or buying pants after work.... Singing, though, that's another thing. i can sing and have sung in English, French, Latin, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, Russian, and German. i love languages, and at one point i toyed with the idea of changing majors in University and studying Linguistics.

61. Have you ever gotten stitches?
i had an operation when i was 5, but since then i can't remember ever needing stitches - i'm sure there's an episiotomy in my future though...shudder....

62. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
Yes. When i was 13 my grade seven class went on a camping/biking trip and i managed to crash my bike and break my arm - i was put on a back board and taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance. Exciting... except i really had to pee - so the entire trip consisted of me trying not to wet myself, even though the ambulance attendants assured me it was okay to do so. Incidentally, i made it to the hospital and a glorious bed pan... longest 1.5 hours of my life.

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?
i'd rather be swimming in a lake or a river, but i guess i'd take ocean over pool - as long as it was warm like, Hawaii or Mexico and not like Vancouver or New Brunswick. i don't like chlorine.

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seats?
I'm claustrophobic a bit, so i prefer the aisle so i can move my legs with a bit more freedom.

65. Do you know how to drive stick?
sorta. not well enough to drive around, say, San Fransisco - but if i had to, i could probably get us home from the bar kind of thing. Expect a lot of stalls and gear grinding.

66. What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Books. or DVDs. or going out for dinner or coffee with friends. i very rarely go shopping for clothes or anything of that nature, and when i do - i feel slightly guilty... like, i could have purchased some new watercolour paper with that money....

67. Do you wear any jewelry 24/7?
The ring my mom gave me in high school after i finally broke up with Dickface for good. Right now my hands are all swelly so my wedding ring doesn't fit anymore.... but i'm still wearing them around my neck, so i guess you could add engagement ring and wedding ring to that, oh, and i have a toe ring on the pointer toe of each foot - and a hoop through the top cartilidge of each ear, oh and my tongue stud, and my labret stud. So, yeah. i do have jewellery i wear 24/7.

68. What is your favorite TV show?
Lets see.... Battlestar Galactica, LOST, Dexter, Carnivale, Corner Gas, i'm diggin' J-Pod.... i detest all 'game-show' type reality shows, like American/Canadian Idol, So you think you can dance, dancing with the stars, etc etc etc, however, i'm kinda stuck on Gene Simmons Family Jewels and Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant

69. Can you roll your tongue?
yes, although the tongue ring makes it tricky

70. Who is the funniest person you know?
My brother Patrick, except lately he's been somewhat of an Eeyore... other than him - uhm, Small One and Mika combined make for good laughter and good times. ;)

71. Do you sleep with stuffed animals?
there's no room, see question 30 re: pillows in the bed

72. What is the main ring tone on your phone?
it used to be the theme from Mario Brothers, but i kept missing calls cuz i couldn't hear my phone. now its a boring old Phone ring. RRRRRING!!

73. Do you still have clothes from when you were little?
my mom just gave me some of my old baby clothes a while ago... i can't believe i was ever that small.

74. What red object is closest to you right now? uhm, it's a tie - a red coke bottle, a red binder, and a red Packing Tape dispenser.

75. Do you turn off the water while you brush your teeth?
Yes. We fill a cup with water and use that for all teeth brushing purposes.

76. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
this is an excellent question. I HATE having the closet doors open - it feels weird. But as B-rad keeps all his shirts in the closet on hangers, he's usually the last one in there and leaves it open. for a while, i would close the closet at night before going to sleep, but i've given up now, i just don't look over there.

77. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees?
neither!! who would ever give you those options!? A Nazi?? i'm not answering this.

78. Do you flirt a lot?
i would say no, but i bet my husband would say yes.

79. What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
is it a McNugget?? cuz then i'd dip it in Honey Mustard sauce. all other nuggets get ranch.

80. What is your favorite food?
i don't know, whatever i'm craving instantly becomes my favourite food....

81. Do you know how to change the oil in a car?
No. B-rad offered to teach me one time, and i said: "why bother? i'll just spend the 40 bucks and the 15 minutes and get someone else to do it"

82. Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?
yeah, but it was a stupid reason... there used to be this gap in the maitenance highway when i lived with my parents - it was 90 km going INTO town, but 40 km going OUT of town. i was caught driving 90 in a 40 zone. fuckers.

83. Have you ever run out of gas?
No. Thankfully. i imagine that would suck.

84. What is your usual bedtime?
well, it used to be around 11, but this baby makes me sleepy around 9 - so i'm usually in bed by 10ish.

85. What was the last book you read?
The last book i read was: "The Amber Spyglass" the last book of the Golden Compass series... i loved it. and the book i'm reading now is very dull by comparison.

86. Do you read the newspaper?
why bother? i mostly get my news from the radio. i don't even like watching it on TV. Especially not on any FOX channels, their news headlines crack me up....

87. Do you have any magazine subscriptions?
i just got my very first Watercolour magazine yesterday from the subscription i bought from my nephews school fundraiser in October.

88.Where is #88?
Car 88? was that a show? i don't know, it sounds like something. i don't know where 88 is, but if i see it, i'll let you know.

89. Do you watch soap operas?
i used to watch General Hospital in high school - but i stopped watching it one day when i realized that it will never stop, people will continue being kidnapped, murdered, ressurected, characters changing, marrying, divorcing, remarrying, etc etc etc... there was never going to be any closure. so i stopped.

90. Do you dance in the car?
dance in the car? does that include head bopping and steering wheel drumming? if so, then yes.
Unless its Bohemian Rhapsody - then, of course, there will be headbanging.

91. What radio station did you last listen to?
In Cowtown i used to listen to their classic rock station - and it was great, i never had to hear Nickleback, Kanye West, Shania Twain or Celine Dion ever... just good ol' classic rock...all the time.... now, i listen to the rock station here, but it's garbage. all the stations here are garbage. CDs and my iPod save my sanity.

92. Who's in the picture frame closest to you?
i actually don't have any pictures here in my office.... i have my ultrasound on my desktop wallpaper,..... i also have this drawing of a professor and penguin that was drawn by Levendis - not in a frame though.

Rain and wet earth

95. What is your favorite board game?
Scrabble. Its the only game that B-rad and i will actually play together...

Uhm, around Christmas time i suppose - i sang a duet with my mom for the christmas presentation.

98. Who was your favorite teacher in high school?
Phillip Cheveldayoff. i wrote a volleyblog post about him.

99. What is the longest you have ever camped out in a tent?
Two days too long.

100. Who was the last person to do something extra special for you?
B-rad. he's been most excellent in offering to rub any body part that happens to be sore from all this baby makin'.
