72 - x365 Mr. C

You were my high school English Teacher. You were witty and sarcastic, and made us think. You indulged us when we were giggly, and encouraged us when we needed it. You entered a poem of mine in a poetry contest without my knowing. You walked up to my desk and handed me the magazine of High School priarie poetry. "What's this?" i asked. "Check out page 6" you said. There it was, my name and my poem in print.

You read us Lord of the Flies, and you made it interesting by asking questions that made for good discussion. In Grade Eleven, while studying MacBeth, you brought in the PlayBoy production of "MacBeth" and said; "I hope you'll all be mature enough about this, there is a nude scene, but let's all move past that and watch the Shakespeare" ... when Lady MacBeth appeared, nude - and she was dubbed 'Lady MacBabe' you laughed, and called her Lady MacBabe for the rest of the course of the MacBeth lesson plan.

I hear you and your wife adopted a baby girl from China. It blew me away to find that out, but now i think that your daughter is lucky to have you for her father.
