One of my bestest pals in high school, we were locker roommates for 3 years. Every year, when our teachers would hand out the 'day planners', we'd start at the beginning and use the book to write to each other. Sometimes short things, sometimes long things, always hilarious. We called it, "THE BOOK" - how creative, i know. There were no rules, there were no limits to what we could and would write, the zanier and the crazier the better. We would meet at the locker, and exchange "The Book" between classes. Documented inside were our plans to meet every thursday night for coffee and fries after graduation...we thought we'd never stop being friends. But now we're both married. and living different lives. i wonder if you still get creative the way you did in "The Book"
