My first day of my new school, grade nine... - the teacher asked one of the 'popular' girls to show me around. it lasted for about 3 minutes when she ditched me to find her boyfriend who was 3 years older than her. As i stood in the hallway swirling with students, lost and a little panicked, you tapped my shoulder and said hello.
