I don't know whether i'm coming or going these days. There are about 5 quality posts that i have floating around in my head, but i haven't the time to sit and blog. Travelling for work was exhausting, and when i got home it was go go go nonstop with company over for Thanksgiving.
The meal was fabulous, though. It was a Veggie Thanksgiving at my house, and i'll tell you why before all you meat eaters freak out (not to worry, i also love a good turkey). Both B-rad and i have family just outside of town. So, we figured that instead of having turkey 3 days in a row, we'd try something new, and that something was stuffed squash.
it was so delicious, and oh so pretty...Also, B-rad and i bought ourselves a Dyson Vacuum and Guitar Hero - so it was a clean carpeted musical jamboree at my house all weekend!

Oh, the Dyson. Sigh. Even my horribly undomestic self wants one of those.
Oh God, it's totally worth it! the first time we vacuumed it was disgusting what our old vacuum left behind.

we bought the Dyson Slim. It's awesome. and slim. and it has a ball rolly thing so you can vacuum around furniture more easily!

The squash looks magnificent! Good for you for switching things up with a nice veggie dish. I like turkey myself but three times in a row would be a little much for many people. Yay - Guitar Hero is so much fun. TGH and I play it also. I can only do up to medium on some songs. But it is a blast!
Oh, and that is great about the vacuum cleaner. I hope it gives you many great years of clean floors and such! Sorry I forgot to mention in the first comment but I guess food and toys always outweigh cleaning devices, in my opinion. LOL

Wench - i will post the recipe, what i can remember - we sorta threw it all together. also, my vacuum fucking rocks - who knew i'd be so enamored by a vacuum cleaner??
Teeni - Ohhh yeah, Guitar Hero rocks my socks off. Last night i pounded out the solo for "Sweet Child of Mine" on Hard. and it's hard. But i will OWN that song soon enough, don't you worry.
Earl - yeah, veggie thanksgiving, but if it makes you feel better i ate my weight in turkey and ham over the next two days.
