6/31 - x365 Mary H.

When i was young i used to love coming to see you. Visiting was such a treat. When i got older and quit going to church our relationship became strained. I told you off at a family reunion, telling you to back off. As much as you may have annoyed me in my teen years and even into adulthood, i still love you - and i hope that we will someday be able to get to a place where we can get along. Grandma.

3 people love me:

Just posted today's x365, are you psychic? We must have logged on at the same time!

So sad. When it comes to religion a lot of people have the traditions so ingrained in them they just can't see the forest for the trees. And you know what? They honestly don't realize it because it's all they know. Hardly anyone ever thinks about the fact that most people are "born into" their religion. They just "know in their heart" that it is the right one. It just saddens me that something like that should tear families/friends apart when it really is not supposed to. Hugs to you, my friend!
