I'd like to Introduce you to Saviabella

i thought i might take a few posts over the next couple of weeks/months however long it takes to introduce you proper to lads and lassies in my blogroll. I mean, i'm awesome and i read them so you should too. you'll see, they're also awesome.

I'm going to start this off with my dear friend Saviabella for no reason other than she was my gateway drug to many of the blogs i currently fancy.

One hundred and seventy two years ago, there was a girl who blogged stuff. Legend has it, she was roaming the wild countryside of the Saskatchewan Blogger Ring on Diary Land Dot Com. "Many of these blogs are crap!" she said to her teensy lap dog.

Suddenly, it was as if the clouds parted and the sun shone through on to her computer screen... and there it was, madam-diva's blog... back before she moved to blogspot. (that was me)

i can only imagine that she was enamored by my wit and my unabashed use of the effword. it was love. However, she did not profess her undying love right away... she watched me from the shadows, as i poured my heart and soul to an internet world where my only readers were the two people who i forced to read my blog cuz they're my friends.

I am unclear on wether she was reading me before my move to Cowtown, but from the land of cows i put out my cry: "If anyone out there is reading this...and you care....don't be a ghost!! Comment for the love of Pete." and so, Savia brushed off her keyboard and said hello.

the rest, as they say, is history.

we discovered over the years (has it really been that long lady?) that we were kindred spirits who had just never met before. She was a singer and a lover of Art, and she wrote like a muthafucker!! We posted comments on each other's blogs until one day we broke the anonymity boundary and emailed. through blogging and emails we have laughed and cried and she is one of my favourite people. aw.

over the space of 2 years we've gone from perfect strangers, to friends...to Co-Workers?!?!? can you believe it? what a crazy world. Love ya Savia!

Anyway, if you want to know the size of her heart, read this.
If you want to know about her views on Canadian/American political relations read this
Go here for her post on fishing
For an accurate account of our first meeting read this and everything will suddenly be made clear. anyone who will shake their titties for a crowd of people while on a 'blind date' is a-okay in my books.

But this post may have been the post that made her a popular litte devil. Ninja fuck indeed.

Okay little minions,
go forth and read my friend Savia and tell her how much you love her and how she is very very awesome. She'll love you too, cuz she's tottally rad like that.

3 people love me:

Awww...my teensy lap dog and I are both blushing. Thanks, lady. You rock my world.

And I think I was enamoured with you from the moment I laid eyes on your template. Anyone who would have one of a hand reaching under a public toilet stall for a roll of toilet paper just beyond her fingertips with the caption, "Life's a Bitch" is good in my boods!

Awww Laura - you like to come across as so rough around the edges but you are quite the diamond underneath it all. Don't worry I won't tell anyone! LOL. Nice post and what a great way to introduce your blogging circle of friends! You rock and thanks for being so friendly - I've already run into a bunch of comments with you having said such nice things. You really help make my online experience such a wonderful one! Okay enough of the mushiness for today. ;)

Hey there laura. Thanks for visiting my site the other day. I like that you're taking the time to introduce all your pals. It's always a shot in the dark to click on someones blogroll otherwise. Anyway, I like your writing, it cracks me up...I'll be back for more! take care.
