It's been decided that the B-rad and i need to hang out on more patios drinking more pints of more alcohol... and crazily enough 'twas not i who made such a suggestion. And really, who am i to say "No, honey, i don't think our lives WOULD be enriched by more visiting in a pub-type situation"
In fact, in my many blog travels along the writings of such folk as Abigail Road and Knuckle Toes and Schmutzie i realize that what my life is lacking in is, in fact, a group of people who drink beer on patios of pubs! This is the answer! Now, the journey begins to find such a patio that we can call our own. And the right group of people is paramount as well. (WOO 75 Points for using paramount...or is it supposed to be pantamount...no, that can't be right, that's like seeing how many pairs of jeans/slacks i own...it's paramount)
So, where are the good pubs? Lydias? Amigos? The Yard and Flagon? Maybe that one, i've only been there once... See, the problem is when i left ToonTown for the Big Cow City i was a student and lived in a bedroom community and never really got into the "Pub" life of the city. Now that i'm back, and here to stay, i feel we need to establish ourselves as permanent fixtures at one particular place, not unlike the crew in Shaun of the Dead. So that i can, if it strikes my fancy, say: "i'll see you at The Pub!" and everyone will know of which pub i speak of.
Somehow along the road i became some kind of a grown up type person, and i am planning on fighting this, if at all possible.

I laughed my head off when I saw Shawn of the Dead...that is our group to a tee. When the zombies are coming after us, we're going to run to The Pub, because where else can you sit and drink and smoke and be locked in tightly???Plus, his girlfriend, is every girlfriend that's ever been in our group. Hee-larious.
If you can't find one in Toontown, feel free to join us here, we'll be the loud obnoxious ones, singing Johnny Cash on the patio.

Personally I go for Amigos. Great service, mellow atmosphere and great beer. I also like a little more non-descript places like Adina's downtown. Its nothing special, and that's why I like it, if you know what i mean.
I suffocate at a trendy pub.
