Adorable beyond Comprehension

Here's another pic of the kitties - albeit a blurry one.

are you starting to feel sick at how cute they are?

Mika - i'm thinking of going with "Ms MaryFanny Pennyworth-Baxter the First" is that pretentious and cute enough?

New template?

After mucking around for about an hour, i finally found a template that i don't mind and that i won't hate after 2 weeks.

We decided on a kitty. Now we need to decide on a name. Both of the kittens we like are girls, and for some reason coming up with a girl name is so much harder than a boys name. The one i like the most right now is Ziggy Stardust. But B-Rad thinks that's a boys name. What a pickle.

I don't want any people names. I don't like it when people name their pets with people names. But B-Rad had a dog named Mike... so i can see why the names he's picking are "Daphne" "Daisy" "Molly" "Lainey" Blech. we'll see. I picked the name Kozmo for our first cat. And now we have to find a name that goes with Kozmo.

Kozmo and Daisy? nah
Kozmo and Daphne? no
Kozmo and Molly? not bad
Kozmo and Lainey? ehhhh....
Kozmo and Ziggy? it's not great either but it's the best so far.

hm.

Something to think about.

two little cuties...

So the two kitties in question are pictured here...

The grey spotted one is in the running so far, but dammit if that little creamey coloured kitty isn't cute as a button.

Both have killer lungs that any opera singer would die for... and their teeeny tiny "mew"s are disgustingly sweet.

I'm calling the lady tonight...

...okay, but seriously....are they frikkin adorable?

a new addition in a week and a half...

Last night, B-Rad and i went out to a farm on the very brink of Calgary...So far it was teetering on the edge! At said farm we were greeted by the biggest Rottwieller i've ever seen, i swear it was a bear.

The nice lady who lives there took us out back to the quonset where we were entertained by EIGHT delightful little kittens who are Ridiculously adorable. B-Rad and i had our pick of the litter, litter-ally. ha ha.

The wee ones are far too little to come home with us yet. But we narrowed our selection down to two and even debated taking them both home.

I have to call the lady and let her know which one we want... i don't want to spoil the surprise, but when i know, i'll post a pic of my new baby.

Huzzah!!

I've tried, but i can't let go

I've been trying to stay away from blogging. I'm slowly making my departure from diaryland. I thought i would just stop, cold turkey - and only READ blogs.

It seems that Blogger.com is so much easier to use and there's no need for HTML!

And more and more i find myself being confined to my desk at work... this may be the only thing that keeps me sane. Until i can free myself of the Calgarian Coil and return to the Toon town i love.

Work work work.

Okay, i don't know if anyone else has thought of this... but summer is practically over!! Boo hoo. If you think about it - Christmas is in 5 months, today. AHHHHHH! Time to start my Christmas shopping... i'm going to buy Brad some Crocs. ha ha ha.

The Shoe that started it all...

So...
I said i would never wear them.
I said they looked like duck feet.
I said that if i ever bought a pair, i'd commit myself to an institution...

...

But then, i tried on a pair.
Now
I
Must BUY MY VERY OWN!!!!!

Stampede time again

...y'know how i can tell?
There are a million yahoos wandering around in bad shirts getting on my bus in the morning...

You're visiting, take a cab. Don't make my bus 10 minutes for work!!!
Blech.

I can't wait for this week to be over.
